communitychristflierOn Christmas Day 2007, Epicentre launched its first official community project.

On this day we saw 240 people (less fortunate or those that would otherwise be alone) from 10 different nationalities come and receive a 3 course.

The day was held in Bendigo's town hall with approx 80 people helping serve in a variety of ways.

Some of the miracles on the day included:

  • $1,200.00+ worth of presents donated.

  • 2 stories by the Bendigo Advertiser, 1 story by the Weekly and a story by channel 9 news.

  • 27 free TV commercials to advertise the day by channel 10.

  • Food donated by Bakers Delight, Hazeldeans Chickens and numerous individuals.

  • $1,5000+ in chocolates donated by Vineyard Church as well as a bountiful supply of drinks, chips and lollies.

  • $550.00 water colour painting donated as a door prize by local artistTerry Jarvis.

  • Free family photo portaits taken on the day by Plambeck Photography.

  • Town hall for free.

  • Approximately $4,500.00 in cash donations by local churches, businesses and individuals.

  • All together the day should of cost approximately $14,000.00 if we were to pay for everything at full price, but cost no more than $4,500.00.


 
UNIFIED Pool Party E-mail

400 young people attended, from multiple denominations (including regional areas) to not only have a day of entertainment and strengthening relationships, but to also encounter God by lifting Him up through united prayer and worship and interceding for our young people, schools and city.
